The Cabaret collection sweeps us up into a festive, exuberant atmosphere with a graphic style that is both decorative and modern. Refined palm and peacock feather motifs bring an elegance and a levity to your tables, in the spirit of Art Deco. The Cabaret collection is available in a range of shimmering colours, enhanced by touches of gold. Linen fibres play with the light, providing intense reflections. A complete collection of table linens and a series of coordinated wooden trays. To guarantee shine and superior quality we use high-end linen yarn that is strong, light and with the longest fibres. Cabaret placemats add a chic, exotic touch with their majestic palm fronds framed by a contrasting trim. You can either opt for monochrome, or create a surprise by mixing colours. Our stylish, functional placemats are also stain-resistant, making your everyday life a little easier. To preserve their shine over time and facilitate their care, we apply an anti-stain treatment to some of our items that prevents the absorption of aqueous liquids. If you spill liquid on a stain-resistant placemat, dab it quickly and lightly with a damp sponge so that the fabric is not stained. This protective treatment, which you can neither see nor feel, has a lifespan of around 10 machine washes and is reactivated by ironing. This placemat is treated with a hardener to create a more striking effect on the table. It guarantees improved resistance over time and offers greater ease of use. The linen we weave is Masters of Linen® certified, 100% European and eco-responsible. THE STAGES OF CREATION OF OUR PRODUCTS
From the creation of the designs to the making, a Le Jacquard Français product requires 15 manufacturing steps, all carried out with the greatest care and an infinite sense of detail, before coming to dress your home: creation, lisage (translation of the creations into Jacquard language stitch by stitch), selection of the best quality cotton and linen yarns, countertyping of the yarn colors according to the trends of the moment (about 60 per year), yarn dyeing (preferably great dyeing), winding (to limit yarn waste), inking, warping and reuniting (to make the warp), knotting and weaving, piece inspection (quality control of the fabrics), ennobling, and finally making up and packaging.
Today, thanks to our 53 looms, we compose a large number of original designs at a rate of two collections per year. Weavers, knotters, warpers, gluers, stitchers are all trades and gestures exercised with passion and for generations in our factory in Gérardmer, which conceive for you the most beautiful creations of Le Jacquard Français.
