Le Jacquard Français X Ruban Rose
For the fight against breast cancer & Research

Because breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women. Le Jacquard Français is working alongside the Ruban Rose association to inform and raise awareness among as many people as possible.
And because women are at the heart of the Le Jacquard Français universe, with over 90% of our customers being women. On this occasion, we are delighted to present our capsule collection, 3 new tea towels by Florence Bourel, Charlotte Juillard and Leona Rose. 10% of sales will be donated to support the association.

Florence Bourel

From her mixed-race origins, Florence Bourel retains the need to mix influences through poetic creations with timeless lines. An artistic director and designer specializing in rugs, her colorful work is a constant dialogue between savoir-faire, modernity and sustainability.
Always in search of discovery and new creative horizons, collaborating with Le Jacquard Français was an opportunity for Florence Bourel to work with pattern by exploring the Jacquard weaving technique. It's also a committed charitable collaboration in which the designer wanted to get involved, because "we're all concerned by breast cancer".
Through her creation, Florence Bourel brings a touch of hope and optimism: her design, which evokes the leaves of the oleander plant, is synonymous with calm and purity. The airy motif of criss-crossing leaves in motion plays with the Jacquard weaving technique to express lightness, transparency and graphic layering. Florence Bourel was also inspired by Matcha, a symbol of purity and calm. Its ceremonial tasting is imbued with a spiritual dimension, calling for meditation and appreciation of the present moment.

Charlotte Juillard

Linge de table essentiel

A graduate of the Camondo school of interior architecture and design, and driven by craftsmanship and materials, Charlotte Juillard's work is the result of her diverse experiences and travels. Always with a view to exploring and expanding her creative universe the designer founded her design studio in 2014, ranging from object design to scenography or illustration.
Charlotte Juillard's creations and designs are rooted in a desire for timelessness, where textures, shapes, softness and femininity combine for the benefit of a single ambition: to offer an obviousness to the object. For Charlotte Juillard, working with patterns has always been an important part of her life: "I'm delighted to be able to express this through my collaboration with Le Jacquard Français, a brand that represents for me the excellence of our textile heritage".
A collaboration with the Ruban Rose association and Le Jacquard Français in symbiosis with the designer's values. Although her training doesn't necessarily allow her to help the sick, for Charlotte Juillard this collaboration represents her way of making "a small contribution to the edifice". For "as women, we have a duty to raise awareness; we all know someone in our circle, whether close or not, who has been affected by breast cancer". With Folium, Charlotte Juillard celebrates the close relationship between nature and femininity through a curvaceous design. A creation that pays homage to women as guardians and protectors of the natural world.

Leona Rose

Leona Rose, a self-taught painter and contemporary muralist, has developed her practice in complete autonomy, far from training. Passionate about working with color and material, her canvases and creations are an emancipating and joyful act that the artist wishes to make accessible to as many people as possible.
Through shared values, Leona Rose chose to collaborate with Le Jacquard Français, because, like the house's longevity, its products stand the test of time, just like its art, a notion that is very dear to her. But also because the brand represents for her "an invitation to slow-living and to the valorization of exceptional local know-how supporting virtuous production, respectful of the environment, men and women". Bringing her work to a new medium like textiles represented a new challenge for the designer, who wants to develop her own interior design brand and go beyond her own graphic/digital universe.
Sensitive to women's health issues and the defense of women's rights more generally. For Leona Rose, breast cancer is a major social issue. "To reappropriate this cause in the same way as one reappropriates one's own body, to make it visible, to break the taboo that surrounds it" is essential for her. With this in mind, the collaboration between the Ruban Rose association and Le Jacquard Français seemed an absolute necessity. With Le Songe Rose, Leona Rose symbolizes freedom and nature by playing on the musicality of colors. A creation evocative of softness and femininity, for a sweet dreamlike experience.
