COLLECTION CLUB by WILMOTTE

nappe collection club

CLUB by Wilmotte is a singular collection born of a dialogue between two exceptional French crafts. One: artisanal and secular; the other: architectural and visionary.

An exclusive collaboration

Architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte's research into Jacquard weaving was combined with his artistic sensibility to create a resolutely timeless collection.
Jean-Michel Wilmotte's work on composition and the balance of shapes and colors has focused on rediscovering the self-evident character of the object and the sensuality of the material.

New "Bath Club" collection

For the Autumn-Winter season, the Club by Wilmotte collection joins the world of bathrooms and spas with the new Bath Club range.
Lightweight, technical 100% cotton creations, woven in double honeycomb in the Vosges. An architectural collection where fabrics come to life like the sketchbook dear to Jean-Michel Wilmotte.
The constructive gesture of architectural structures and weaving weaves respond and harmonize to give rise to a confidential collection whose contemporary lines and deep colors lend sophistication and elegance. Sleek and intimate, Bath Club is an invitation to relaxation and well-being. Let's join the Club!

Dont forget our Club table linen collection!

Jean-Michel Wilmotte is an architect, urban planner and designer, and a member of the Académie des Beaux-Arts since 2015. Born in 1948 in Soissons (France) and a graduate of the Ecole Camondo (Paris) in interior architecture, he founded Wilmotte & Associés in 1975, an architectural firm that, with its design studio Wilmotte & Industries, now brings together 250 architects, urban planners, designers, museographers and interior architects of 27 nationalities in France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Senegal and South Korea. From Dallas to Seoul, via Moscow, Dakar and São Paulo, Jean-Michel Wilmotte and his teams have been crisscrossing the world for over 45 years, placing people, their cultures and their stories at the heart of their creations.
Whatever the project, from the simplest to the most spectacular, they develop an approach that is both innovativeand responsible, with particular attention to materials, light, finishes and vegetation, always respecting the site and its history. The research around Jacquard was nourished by the identity of the architect, his artistic sensibility but also his chromatic universe. He naturally revived the French art of weaving, which he had already invested in passionately in the 1980s and of which he has mastered all the technical aspects and language.

Know-How

Le Jacquard Français has put all its know-how at the service of this collection, from the choice of the raw material to the making of the products. One year of work and eleven steps were necessary to develop these refined products. The designs are woven on Jacquard looms. This complex technique allows a multitude of effects and patterns to be combined in the same fabric. The yarns used here are called «twisted» (made up of two intertwined threads), they bring hold and texture to the fabric. These threads are a mixture of cotton and linen, the linen bringing an authentic irregularity to the fabric. The products have about 27 threads per cm, which guarantees a durable quality over time.
Because confidence in our products is paramount, this collection has been awarded the OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 label (which guarantees a limited and strictly controlled use of substances hazardous to health and the environment at all stages of processing). All products are woven in our factory in the Vosges and have been specifically developed, in particular the round placemats, a piece produced for the first time in our collection.
The requirement of architecture, at the service of innovation!
