At the Maison&Objet trade show, Le Jacquard Français took part in Suite 2046 - Past Reveals Future, an installation designed by Rudy Guénaire, offering a poetic, sensitive, and forward-looking vision of the hospitality of tomorrow. Designed as a timeless room, Suite 2046 offered visitors an immersive experience, inviting them to slow down, observe, and feel. The space was built around essential notions such as intimacy, memory, and emotion, with each element playing a full part in the narrative. Materials, light, and volumes interacted to create a suspended atmosphere conducive to contemplation. In this context, textiles played a central role. Le Jacquard Français supported this project by creating custom-made silk textiles: a bed set and a tablecloth, specially developed for the installation. As true elements of decor and storytelling, these creations reinforced the sensory dimension of the space, while highlighting the precision of the craft and the richness of textile expertise. This collaboration was born out of a dialogue based on trust between artistic vision and artisanal excellence. It illustrates our desire to make textiles a medium of expression in their own right, capable of supporting ambitious and meaningful creative projects.

The Art of Gesture and Craftsmanship Le Jacquard Français at Paris Déco Home & Paris Déco Off On the occasion of Paris Déco Home and Paris Déco Off, from January 14 to 17, 2026, Le Jacquard Français took over Place Saint-Germain-des-Prés with two artistic installations celebrating the dialogue between contemporary creation and textile craftsmanship. An oversized armchair, a tribute to craftsmanship As the centerpiece of a textile trail imagined by Paris Déco Off, an oversized armchair upholstered in our Promenade Impériale fabric stood out as a true manifesto object. Created by Maison Collinet Sièges et Mobilier, also certified as an Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant, this exceptional armchair required more than 100 hours of work. Conceived as a demonstration of mastery and precision, it transformed textile into a medium of expression in its own right, revealing the full richness of jacquard weaving and the nobility of artisanal gesture. Behind the scenes: the hands that create Echoing the theme The Reverse Side of the Décor, Le Jacquard Français also presented a photographic artwork exhibited on Place Saint-Germain-des-Prés, as part of a partnership with LabKorner and YellowKorner. Produced at the heart of our Gérardmer factory, this photograph captures a key moment in our expertise: the fabric inspection, a decisive stage during which each textile is meticulously examined, front and back. A suspended moment, where expert hands ensure the quality, beauty and durability of our creations. Through these two installations, Le Jacquard Français pays tribute to what has driven the Maison since 1888: respect for gesture, the transmission of savoir-faire, and the constant dialogue between material, creation and emotion.

For Paris Déco Home, our Paris boutique is transforming into a space for contemplation and emotion, hosting a unique art installation created by designer and artist Arnold d'Alger. Entitled Winter in Gérardmer, this immersive creation draws its inspiration from the winter landscapes of the Vosges, the region where the House was founded. Textiles become a true space for expression, revealing their full narrative and sensory power. Spread across large drapes and bedding designed to resemble a landscape, the installation reveals a discreet and poetic fauna that seems to emerge gently from a snowy setting. The windows extend this dreamlike atmosphere with subtle lighting effects, inviting passersby to slow down and enter this hushed universe. Between silence, matter, and light, L'Hiver à Gérardmer offers a timeless interlude in the heart of Paris. A textile immersion where craftsmanship, territory, and emotion intersect, faithful to the DNA of Jacquard Français. Installation on display until January 31.
