Description
Nature - an iconic theme at Le Jacquard Français - is reinventing itself this year with a touch of whimsy. Nature Urbaine celebrates regenerated plant life while spreading the energy and joys of spring. Lush flowers and leaves fill tables and terraces, making the most of the mild spring weather. The collection features an abundance of floral and geometric patterns, with 3D effects producing a defiantly dynamic outcome. The colours combine freshness with warm tones, like soft light falling on velvety grass. Available in 100% cotton or in a coated version for use both outside and behind closed doors.- Stain-resistant :In order to maintain their luster over time and make them easier to care for, we apply a stain-resistant treatment to some of our items that prevents liquids from being absorbed. When you spill a liquid on a stain-resistant placemat, quickly and lightly dab it with a damp sponge so that the fabric is not stained. This protective film, invisible to the eye and touch, lasts for about 10 machine washes and reactivates with ironing.
- Acrylic coating: Our coated products are made of 100% cotton and covered with two layers of acrylic. This protective, non-sticky film makes them stain and water repellent. Coated table linens can be cleaned with a sponge and should only be machine washed occasionally.

THE STAGES OF CREATION OF OUR PRODUCTS
From the creation of the designs to the making, a Le Jacquard Français product requires 15 manufacturing steps, all carried out with the greatest care and an infinite sense of detail, before coming to dress your home: creation, lisage (translation of the creations into Jacquard language stitch by stitch), selection of the best quality cotton and linen yarns, countertyping of the yarn colors according to the trends of the moment (about 60 per year), yarn dyeing (preferably great dyeing), winding (to limit yarn waste), inking, warping and reuniting (to make the warp), knotting and weaving, piece inspection (quality control of the fabrics), ennobling, and finally making up and packaging.
Today, thanks to our 53 looms, we compose a large number of original designs at a rate of two collections per year. Weavers, knotters, warpers, gluers, stitchers are all trades and gestures exercised with passion and for generations in our factory in Gérardmer, which conceive for you the most beautiful creations of Le Jacquard Français.
